Self-Study Programme

• Online introduction session (optional)

  New students can opt to receive an online (30 minute) one-to-one introduction session from their typing tutor.
  
  

  For school age children we ask that a parent/guardian also be present for this session.
  
  

• Study at a time that suits you

  During the 12-week study period, students have 24/7 access to our structured online typing lessons to work through at their own pace, and at a time that suits them.

  
  

  Anyone choosing this course as their Duke of Edinburgh Skill will receive instruction on how to accurately time track their typing practice so they can be sure they've fulfilled the necessary study time requirements.       

  
  

• Meaningful tutor feedback

  Your typing tutor is able to answer any queries you may have throughout the course, and will proactively analyse your progress remotely, sending you feedback with milestones and suggested areas of improvement.
  

  
  

  For those who have chosen this course as their Duke of Edinburgh Skill, an Assessor Report can be provided by your tutor at the end of the study period upon request.​
